Un coffret d'anthologie!

La-La Land Records, Synthesis Entertainment et Legendary Pictures présentent Lost In Space: 50th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection, un coffret unique de 12 CD regroupant toute la musique de la série télévisée Perdus Dans l'Espace!
Cela fait évidemment écho à la sortie de l'intégrale de la série en Blu-Ray, justement à l'occasion de cet anniversaire spécial.

La musique originale a été restaurée, remastérisée et accompagnée de morceaux inédits, notamment ceux composés par John Williams (oui, c'est bien lui! Il était crédité comme 'Johnny Williams' à l'époque)
Ce ne fut pas seulement le voyage spatial de la famille Robinson (dont le père était déjà célèbre pour son rôle de...Zorro), mais aussi celui d'une équipe de compositeurs, comme Herman Stein, Hans J. Salter, Joseph Mullendore, Alexander Courage, Cyril J. Mockridge, Gerald Fried, Leith Stevens, Robert Drasnin, Fred Steiner et d'autres.
Ce classique de la sience-fiction télévisée n'a cependant pas eu beaucoup d'impact en France, mais peut se retrouver sous forme de références et allusions dans nombre de programmes culturels anglo-saxons (dans les Simpsons par exemple).

Cette édition est disponible à 1500 exemplaires, et contient un livret de plus de 100 pages, contenant des photos d'archive ainsi que des notes de production de Jeff Bond.
Bref, une sortie-anniversaire de poids, comme le montre la tracklist la plus longue que j'ai jamais eu à mettre en article!
