La Firme et Commando

Cette semaine, La-la Land Records sortait deux 'nouveaux' albums.

D'abord, voici une ressortie, Dave Grusin présenté sur 2 CD dans La Firme (The Firm), qui en 1993 lui avait valu une nomination aux Oscars. Entièrement interprétée au piano, la musique de ce film emblématique des 90's est à nouveau présentée en double CD, puisqu'il s'agit d'une réimpression de l'édition épuisée de 2011, identique en tous points hormis la mention du nombre d'exemplaires; Un CD contient la musique, et l'autre les chansons ainsi que des titres alternatifs. De plus, le livret contient une interview avec Grusin. 3 000 unités sont mises en vente.

Dans la longue tradition des films d'action bourrins, Commando a toujours eu une place particulière, flirtant sur cette fine cordelette surplombant d'un côté le navet et de l'autre le nanar. Ce film, c'était avant tout le 'body count' (nombre de morts) le plus élevé du cinéma d'outre-Atlantique, ce qui est somme toute très facile quand on n'a pas besoin de recharger son arme pendant 1h28.
James Horner signait en 1985 la BO de cette montagne d'hormones de bouc, ressortie en 2011 en version rallongée et remastérisée. Totalement épuisée, elle ressort cette semaine à 2000 unités.
