Based on the wildly popular book by Dutch author Jan Wolkers, this story of love and grief is a modern Dutch cinema classic. Featuring Jazz pianist Louis van Dyke and harmonica player Toots Thielemans, the music is mildly melancholic, and exuberant at times.
