Dario Marianelli won in 2008 an oscar for best score for Atonement, a film by director Joe Wright. Marianelli had already worked with Wright previously in 2005 on Pride and Prejudice, for which he received an oscar nomination. In that same year Dario wrote the music for The Brothers Grimm and V for Vendetta.
