Zondagavond zijn voor de 92ste keer the Oscars uitgereikt. De Oscar voor beste score ging naar de IJslandse componiste Hildur Gudnadottir voor haar score voor Joker. Naast The Golden Globe, Bafta en Critics Association Award nam ze dus ook de Oscar voor beste score mee naar huis.
