Walt Disney Records brengt in hun Legacy Collection op 9 februari 2018 Alan Menken's score voor Beauty and the Beast uit. Deze animatie film uit 1991 behoort nog steeds tot één van Disney's beste en meest geliefde animatie films. De muziek voor deze prachtige film is geschreven door Alan Menken, de teksten voor de liedjes zijn van Howard Ashman. Zowel de score als de titel song Beauty and the Beast won een Oscar in 1992. Nu vult Disney hun Legacy Collection aan met deze prachtige release. De 2-CD's bevatten naast de volledige score en liedjes ook enkele demo's van de liedjes zelf. Een prachtige release om na Robin Hood nu ook met Beauty and the Beast de collectie verder aan te vullen. De totale speelduur bedraagt 130 minuten.
