KISSED earned the longest standing ovation at the 1997 International Film Festival in Cannes.
KISSED fascinates, hypnotises, moves and surprises!
'KISSED is as hilarious as it is seemingly serious, a darkly outrageous comedy. It's probably not quite like anything you've ever seen before, although its evocation of weirdness may make you think of Blue Velvet.' - LA Times
KISSED is the story of a pretty girl-next-door with an attraction to primary post-mortem. In a quest to further explore her fascination with death, Sandra Larson (Molly Parker) lands a job at the local funeral parlor and so begins her initiation into the hidden and mysterious world of undertakers. While studying embalming, Sandra meets Matt (Peter Outerbridge), a lonely intense medical student who must compete for her affection.
KISSED features an eclectic collection of original music, score (written by Don MacDonald) and film dialogue (voice over by Molly Parker). Featured on the album is Sarah McLachlan, who has emerged as one of America`s most popular and foremost female singers with her current album maintaining top 10 status for a sixth week. Also a group of up and coming artists, such as Tara MacLean and the ids and Kristy Lee Thirsk (of Delerium and Rose Chronicles fame), are included.
