Dit is voor één keer eens een aardige compilatie van maestro Morricone. Het interessantste eraan is dat er vele minder bekende muziek van Morricone te horen valt dan dat we anders gewend zijn, nl. eens niet de wereldbekende thema's uit bvb. The good, the bad & the ugly, Once upon in the West, enz...
Ook goed om weten: alle versies zijn uitgevoerd door Morricone zelf
en dus niet door één of ander goedkoop orkest.
Kortom, een must-have voor iedere grote en minder grote fan van Ennio Morricone, een ideale dubbel cd om het werk van de legendarische componist (nog beter) te leren kennen.
