Christophe Beck is a composer of filmmusic. Born in Montreal Canada, Christophe Beck started piano lessons at five, and by eleven he was learning Bee Gees songs by ear and performing with his first-ever band. During high school he studied flute, saxophone, trombone & drums, and performed in rock bands. In 1992, he moved to Los Angeles to attend USC's prestigious film scoring program, where he studied with Jerry Goldsmith. He started out with writing music for television shows such as White Fang and Buffy. Aftwerwards Beck pursued a career in writing music for film. He’s written music for films such as The Sentinel, We Are Marshall, The Hangover part I and II, Percy Jackson and REd. Recently he wrote music to The Muppets movie and Tower Heist.
