Side one includes the original soundtrack to the Disneyland attraction America Sings featuring Burl Ives as Sam the Eagle along with other Disney cast. Side two includes seven Burl Ives songs of which five were from the 1964 album #ST-3927.
America Sings is a Disney Theme Park attraction that first opened in June of 1974 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The attraction was housed in the rotating Carousel Theater, replacing The Carousel of Progress that moved to The Magic Kingdom in Florida. The show was hosted by Burl Ives as Sam the Eagle and traveled through American history in song with animal animatronics. The attraction closed in 1988, but some of the artifacts are now part of Splash Mountain.

America Sings était une attraction du parc Disneyland de 1974 à 1988 qui sous la forme d'un spectacle avec des animaux audio-animatronics avait pour but d'amuser le public avec des chansons de différentes époques de l'histoire américaine, saupoudrées d'humour. L'attraction a remplacé en 1974 le Carousel of Progress transféré au Magic Kingdom et a fermé en 1988 pour faire place à Innoventions
Le chef de cérémonie du spectacle était un pygargue à tête blanche (emblème des États-Unis) nommé Sam (voix de Burl Ives) et d'une chouette anonyme (voix de Sam Edwards).
