Martèlement de percussions et violons saccadés tapissant un suspense jamais relâché, voilà qui ne nous est pas étranger... Si dans ce "Green Zone", l'association Paul Greengrass - Matt Damon a de quoi nous rappeler Jason Bourne, il en va de même pour les compositions de John Powell, qui reste ici dans le même répertoire. Heureusement l'homme a du talent, et signe un album tendu et percutant qui colle bien au contexte d'un thriller sur fond de guerre.
"Opening Book", pièce d'ouverture, est diablement prenante. Tout comme la plupart des morceaux, dont le principal défaut est qu'ils se ressemblent fortement: pas vraiment de thème, mais plutôt de longues phrases musicales tantôt épiques, tantôt angoissantes, ayant pour principal fil conducteur un rythme plus que soutenu, qui promet un film décoiffant.
Une bande originale réussie mais sans relief. "Attack and Chase", longue piste d'action, vaut le détour.
