Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda, now in their mid-50s, remain best friends. Perpetually-squabbling couple Stanford (now a talent agent) and Anthony (who owns a bakery business) are still close to them. Samantha, angry over being dropped as Carrie's book publicist, moved to London and cut all ties.
