On August 20th, 2021 Silva Screen Records will digitally release Professor T, the original soundtrack for Britbox / ITV drama, composed by Belgian Award-winning composer Hannes De Maeyer.
On August 20th, 2021 Silva Screen Records will digitally release Professor T, the original soundtrack for Britbox / ITV drama, composed by Belgian Award-winning composer Hannes De Maeyer.
In 2019, Hannes De Maeyer composed the impressive symphonic score to Belgian war epic Torpedo for which he was awarded with the 2020 Best Original Score for a Belgian Production at the prestigious World Soundtrack Awards and co-composes - in collaboration with French composer Eloi Ragot - the original score to nerve-wrecking tv-series Keizersvrouwen (Women of the Night), internationally distributed via Netflix.
He recently composed a score for De Stig, a moving and inspiring documentary about cyclist Stig Broeckx, and the Irish Tour de France drama The Racer, selected for last year’s SXSW.
Hannes is currently working on Adil & Bilall’s newest project Rebel, the animation series Ninja Express and the UK remake of crime drama series Professor T (ITV/PBS).
Later this year, he will start composing for Immenhof – Das große Versprechen, the second feature from the popular German franchise.
The soundtrack Professor T is available digitally on August 20, 2021.
The 6-part drama Professor T is developed by Matt Baker and Malin-Sarah Gozin based on the Belgian series of the same title created by Paul Piedfort with Ben Miller, Emma Naomi, Barney White, Andy Gathergood, Sarah Woodward, Juliet Aubrey and Frances de la Tour.
