Buckley’s Chance is directed by Tim Brown and stars Bill Nighy, Victoria Hill, Milan Burch, Kelton Pell and Martin Sacks. The movie tells the story of a young boy who becomes lost in the harsh Australian outback with nothing but his camcorder and new friend, a wayward Dingo. The drama will be released in Australian theaters on June 24. No word yet on a domestic release.

Starring British acting powerhouse, Bill Nighy (as grandpa) and beloved Australian actors Kelton Pell and Martin Sacks, Buckley's Chance delivers thrilling adventure, fun and friendship all set in the beautiful Australian outback.

A year after the loss of his father, Ridley and his mother, Gloria, move to Western Australian to live with Ridley's estranged grandfather Spencer. Once there, Spencer tries to connect with Ridley but all efforts usually lead to conflict. Ridley ends up lost deep in the outback on a quest to try to get home.
Meanwhile, Spencer and Gloria search the outback for Ridley. Spencer tries to reassure Gloria that her son will be OK, all the while trying to come to terms with the loss of his only child….

While suffering the elements of the Australian outback (especially for a kid from New York), Ridley manages to save a dingo, Buckley, from a leg trap. The two develop a bond and both boy and dog try to survive the elements to get Ridley back home.

Christopher has received commissions from many of Australia’s premiere ensembles, including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Gondwana Voices, Synergy Percussion, Omega Ensemble, and the Sydney International Brass Festival and various solo artists.
He has also composed for many of Australia’s major celebrations, including the opening ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games 2006 and the Rugby World Cup 2003, the official celebration of the Centenary of Federation of Australia 2001, and the Millennium Eve global telecast. In 2006 he was commissioned by the Prime Minister of Australia to arrange the official version of the Australian National Anthem.
In the studio Christopher has conducted over sixty film and game scores, including Mortal Kombat, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Star Wars: The Director and the Jedi, Lego Batman and Truth, as well as a concert tour of Ministry of Sound.
