The Speech (Le Discours) is directed by Laurent Tirard and stars Benjamin Lavernhe, Sara Giraudeau, Benjamin Lavernhe, Julia Piaton, Kyan Khojandi, Guilaine Londez and François Morel. The movie is based on Fabrice Caro’s novel of the same title and follows a woman who is going through an existential crisis as he awaits a reconciliation text message from his ex during a seemingly never-ending family dinner. The comedy is being released in French theaters today.
Meet Adrien! He's 35. He's stuck in a mid-life crisis. He's neurotic and hypochondriac. Tonight he's stuck in an endless family dinner and his girlfriend is not answering his texts. On top of that, his dumb brother-in-law asks him to prepare a speech for his wedding. Could it get even worse?
