The Gate is a 1987 horror film directed by Tibor Takács and starring Stephen Dorff (Glen) in his film debut, Christa Denton (Al), Louis Tripp as Terry Chandler, Kelly Rowan as Lori Lee, Jennifer Irwin as Linda Lee, Deborah Grover as Mom, Scot Denton as Dad, Ingrid Veninger as Paula.
Kids, left home alone, accidentally unleash a horde of malevolent demons from a mysterious hole in their suburban backyard.
Michael Hoenig is a German composer who is credited with a number of film and television scores, including a few other horror films some of you may be familiar with. He wrote the score for the 1988 remake of 'The Blob', the 1990 sci-fi/horror film 'Class of 1999', and the direct-to-video b-movie 'Dracula 3000'.
J. Peter Robinson is an English-born composer who has also composed scores for multiple movies and a number of notable horror movies.
