The City Light Symphony Orchestra presents the 100-minute program Spotlight on John Williams. The 90-piece orchestra recorded a selection of classic film scores by Williams in the concert hall of the KKL Luzern in September 2020.
The City Light Symphony Orchestra presents the 100-minute program Spotlight on John Williams. The 90-piece orchestra recorded a selection of classic film scores by Williams in the concert hall of the KKL Luzern in September 2020.
The album will be released digitally and as a 2-CD set on 9 April 2021 (CH release) on Prospero Classical.
Together with renowned soloists such as Valentine Michaud, Reinhold Friedrich and Paul Meyer, the musicians of the City Light Symphony Orchestra have recorded outstanding compositions by Hollywood icon John Williams with great verve at the KKL Luzern. Conducted by Kevin Griffiths.
