John Palmer Records presents the soundtrack for the comedy Welcome to Acapulco. The album contains the music composed by Javier Gimeno-Bayon.

The soundtrack is available to download on Amazon and other sites.

Welcome to Acapulco is directed by Guillermo Ivan with William Baldwin, Michael Madsen, Bradley Gregg, Michael Kingsbaker, Ana Serradilla, Paul Sorvino, Jeannine Kaspar and Michael Papajohn.

Video game designer Matt Booth has one shot to save his career by unveiling his biggest project yet at the Video Game Awards in New Mexico.
But after running into a friend at the airport and having a little too much to drink before his flight, he ends up in ACTUAL Mexico - specifically, Acapulco.
As soon as he lands, he finds himself on the run from high-powered criminals, deadly hitmen and the Feds, all looking for a mysterious package that he has allegedly smuggled through customs yet knows nothing about.
Partnering with a badass, beautiful femme fatale and channeling his inner video game action hero, the pair unravels a conspiracy that could shake the foundation of the United States, maybe even the world.

About Javier Gimeno-Bayon:
Javier Gimeno-Bayon was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1980. His interest in music began at an early age. Whilst studying neuroscience, Javier had the opportunity to score for various short films at the Barcelona film school ESCAC. This opportunity gave him a deeper understanding of music as a dramatic art form and he thrived in this experience giving rise to his desire to become a film score composer. Javier then took lessons with the award-¬winning composer Leon Willett for five years. After completing his studies with Leon Willet, Javier then sought further studying from renowned composers Joan Albert Amargós and Lluis Verges.
In 2014 became a collaborator of Discordian Records, a net-label for independent music that has become a cornerstone for Barcelona’s underground avant-music scene.
Later that year Javier became Co-Founder of Barcelona based International music company Summer76music which specializes in music for advertising with international clients such as Coca-Cola, VW, Red Bull & Nike to name but a few.
Javier’s most recent orchestration credits have been collaborations with Oscar¬-nominated Javier Navarrete, the pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi or three-¬time Grammy¬ award winner Pharrell Williams. He also has orchestrated Palme d’or 2016 winner and Oscar nominated multi-awarded shortfilm “Timecode“.
He has worked with prestigious directors as Darren Lynn Bousman, Iciar Bollain or Kike Maíllo, scoring his shortfilm “Cuánto” which was awarded with Grand Prix Entertaiment in Cannes Lions Festival.
Javier also has scored several films, being awarded in tens of prestigious festivals. Javier’s score for the western film “10 miles to Bisbee” was awarded for Best Original Score in Sitges International Film Festival 2015. He also took top honors at the 5th International Film Music Competition, which took place within the framework of the 12th Zurich Film Festival at the Tonhalle Zürich Sept. 23. Bayon won the Golden Eye for Best International Film Music 2016.
