Raffaello Basiglio is a composer, pianist and violinst.
He’s 19 years old and he has played piano and violin since he was 10 years old. He is also a brilliant actor. Fascinated by both music and film, he decided to pursue a career as a composer of theatrical and movie scores by the age of 15.

He wrote music for some theatrical representations and short films: Monsieur De Pourceaugnac by Daniela Tusa, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (in which he played Oberon) and Antigone (Tiresias) by Luca Zilovich; Pescatori di Perle, a short film by Matteo Dallavilla; La Signora Papillon, also by Luca Zilovich (review by RadioGold: “beautiful the disturbing dream music of Raffaello Basiglio”); Under Milkwood by Francesca Pasino.

Raffaello Basiglio’s experimental film and theater scores are informed by influences spanning Dmitri Shostakovich, Igor Stravinsky, John Williams, Howard Shore, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Alexandre Desplat, Bear McCreary, Danny Elfmanas well as classical, jazz, and world music.
