A first time release soundtrack to A Song is Born including some of the best full-length 1947 Goldwyn Studios pre-recorded acetates, cuts from Capitol's 'Giants Of Jazz' CC-106 album, alternate versions of songs from the film and an additional, spirited bonus performance of A Song is Born from a 1949 Armed Forces Radio Service 'Jubilee' show by one of the film's musical stars, Louis Armstrong.
