Modern Harmonic présents ''The Minx'', Original Soundtrack - LP, Plush ‘60s pop-psych soundtrack! composed by ''The Cyrkle''
The Minx, an intriguing soundtrack from the Cyrkle, is laden with their trademark three-part harmonies, intricate arrangements, and paisley-psychedelic sounds.
Recorded in 1967—following the Cyrkle's pop chart success with Paul Simon's “Red Rubber Ball” and their own “Turn-Down Day”—and shelved until the film's release two years later, The Minx has eluded the grasp of even the most dedicated Cyrkle fan, until now.
This legitimate, deluxe vinyl reissue (created from the master reels, with full participation of the band members) includes bonus tracks, extensive notes, and features a DVD with the original, outrageous film!
First legit lp reissue of this 1970 soundtrack!
Includes a dvd of the entire feature film!
Lush & plush cyrkle cuts including some previously unavailable on lp!
Filmed in 1967. The film's original title was 'Squeeze Play' which is also the title of the theme song played by The Cyrkle. After the completed product was deemed disappointing director Raymond Jacobs added extra sex scenes to secure an X rating and the film was retitled.
By the time the film was released, The Cyrkle, the folk-rock group that recorded the soundtrack, had broken up.
The Minx directed by Raymond Jacobs with Jan Sterling, Robert Rodan, Shirley Parker, Michael Beirne, Robbie Heywood, Adrienne Jalbert, Alan Dellay, Philip Faversham.
