Raw (Grave)

Death Waltz Recording Co. is proud to present the soundtrack to RAW. You may have heard Williams' work in Field In England & Sightseers but RAW will certainly see him breakthrough to a wider audience with a score that will easily sit high inside many top ten lists come the end of 2017. Williams mixes mellow acoustic tracks filled with violin and piano that are serene and beautiful with huge baroque organ led tracks that are intense and powerful. From minute i saw the film I knew we had to release the soundtrack on vinyl. I’d like to thank Focus Pictures & Back Lot Music for letting us partner with them on this release and the amazing Candice Tripp for absolutely nailing the artwork.

RAW - Original Motion Picture Score 2XLP. Original Score by Jim Williams. Artwork by Candice Tripp. Layout by Jay Shaw. Pressed on 180 Gram Rotted-Flesh vinyl (Green, Brown & Cherry Swirl - Limited to 1,000 copies) & 180 Gram Classic Black vinyl.
Note: This item is a pre-order. This record will ship in mid-April. 2017

Oh man, I can’t rave enough about this. RAW is without a doubt one of the most audacious debut films I’ve ever seen. It’s visually stunning, unnerving, beautifully violent, and also very funny. It very much reminds me of Cronenberg at his finest with its coming of age body horror tale concerning a vegetarian trainee vet that gets a taste for flesh. Everything about the film is outstanding, and that goes for Jim Williams score.
