This record is one of the few 10' vinyl recordings that plays at the 33 1/3 RPM speed. It is enclosed in a thick cardboard sleeve and includes the story of 'The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow' on side one with 'The Legend Of Rip Van Winkle' on side two. Both stories include narration, music and songs.

'The Adventures Of Ichabod and Mr. Toad' is a Disney animated film featuring two segments, beginning with Basil Rathbone narrating a story from 'The Wind and The Willows' featuring Mr. Toad and ending with Bing Crosby picking up the program with 'The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow.' The film premiered in theaters during October of 1949 and was the last of the package productions of the 1940s, where Disney Studios was struggling with economic hardships brought on by the war. Post video releases focused on each title separately until they were once seen again in their combined format on home video during the 1990s.
