A film centered on a group of people searching for human connections in today's wired world.
Just how dangerous in the Internet? Beyond the tabloid scare stories, what does it mean to live more and more of our life online? Few films have offered much insight outside of science fiction but Disconnect explores the all-too-real dangers of how we live now. Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgård and Paula Patton lead the ensemble cast of this reflection on the downside of living online.
The score was written by acclaimed award-winning composer MAX RICHTER (Waltz With Bashir, Sarah’s Key). In Disconnect, he shows his wide range of influences with a fast-paced and emotionally intense score. Richter’s work includes concert music, film scoring, and a series of acclaimed solo albums. In 2012, Richter released the highly-praised Vivaldi Recomposed for Deutsche Grammophon, recorded by British violinist Daniel Hope and the Konzerthaus Orchester, Berlin.
The soundtrack also includes the song “Ni Su Nave” performed by Jayme Ivision.
