If I had to choose which Netflix original series has the best original music, it would probably be House of Cards. From its more snappy moments to its beautiful melodies, this is probably the closest we'll ever get to a TV soundtrack that could stand toe to toe with Lost.
Bad, for a greater good.
Ruthless and cunning, Congressman Francis Underwood (Oscar® winner Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) stop at nothing to conquer everything. This wicked political drama penetrates the shadowy world of greed, sex, and corruption in modern D.C. Kate Mara (American Horror Story) and Corey Stoll (Midnight in Paris) costar in the first original series from David Fincher (The Social Network) and Beau Willimon (The Ides of March).
“Spacey gives a master class in how this is done” — The Hollywood Reporter
“Robin Wright gives the performance of her career” — Boston Herald
“**** 4 out of 4 stars” — People
“Hits the perfect tone right from the start” — NPR
The political intrigue is heightened by the captivating score by Jeff Beal (Rome, Monk, Carnivàle), presented here in a 2CD set.
