Airwolf Themes - 10/10 - Review of Sergei Filtero, submitted at
This is now my absolutely all-time favorite soundtrack having downloaded from Apple iTunes and read all about its creation on the official website. The dedication Cairns and Levay put into this high-production value product is beyond words and it is great to see that a small, private company can release such a huge, iconic, World-Record breaking soundtrack for the rest of us to enjoy.

Listening to the tracks, those - like me - who fondly remember the show will be immediately transported back to the high-flying fictional world of Hawke, Santini, Archangel, Caitlin and their 'Lady' - Airwolf - with an eclectic mix of orchestral and synth and the 25-track album is thematically varied, with a range of moods reflecting the varied plot-lines of the different episodes and the emotional undercurrents of the lead characters and their weekly daring-do.

There's always constant debate on what the best 80s theme tune was -- usually an argument between Knight Rider, Airwolf, Street Hawk, The A-Team and The Dukes of Hazzard. Well this just emphasizes how easy the show's main theme, not-to-mention the other episodic tunes are on the ear, how far ahead of its time Airwolf was and how talented its original composers, Sylvester Levay and Udi Harpaz actually were to produce music that we still want to listen to over 20 years later.

So time to fill your boots (and your iPod, MP3 or CD player) with the sounds of the world of Airwolf because you won't regret it. You can find out more at their link here: http://airwolfthemes.com/about-airwolf-themes-features-and-overview.html - Two words to summarize... simply amazing! :)
