In 2014, the body of Jill Halliburton Su, heiress of an oil empire, was discovered stabbed to death in her Florida villa.
The police follow the family trail when a DNA analysis sweeps everything away. From then on, Dayonte Resiles, nicknamed Moochie, a young African-American known for burglaries, is the ideal culprit.
And it doesn't matter if he has no motive or a violent past.
At first, we think we already know the story that unfolds in six exciting episodes of the documentary series Moochie, which plunges us into the heart of an American judicial system invariably poisoned by racial tensions...
Until the story goes off the rails, disrupted by the disturbing actions of the accused and by the doubts of the director, Samuel Collardey. He looks back at the five years of investigation and the twists and turns that make Moochie a 'true crime' unlike any other.
