The Kangaroo Conspiracy is directed by Marc-Uwe Kling and Alexander Berner with Kling himself, Volker Zack, Dimitrij Schaad, Tim Seyfi, Rosalie Thomass, Adnan Maral, Oskar Strohecker, Carmen-Maja Antoni, Daniel Zillmann, Petra Kleinert, Benno Fürmann, Michael Ostrowski, Melanie Straub and Nils Hohenhövel.
This is a sequel to 2020’s The Kangaroo Chronicles scored by Niki Reiser.
Marc-Uwe and the Kangaroo make a daring bet: they will lose their apartment if they don’t manage to save Maria’s mother. She took a wrong turn on the internet and now denies the climate crisis. On their absurd road trip to the Conspiracy Convention in Bielefeld, small-time artist and marsupial end up in the sights of conspiracy guru Adam Krieger and his fanatical followers. Sadly, the two just can’t help saying the right thing at the wrong time. And suddenly it’s not just about their apartment – it’s a matter of life and death! Will they still make it? Very likely. It’s a comedy, after all.
