Consisting in five sketches inspired by various events, directed notably by Claude Chabrol, Jean-Luc Godard and Roman Polanski, the co-production The World’s Most Beautiful Swindlers(1964) also involved many composers: Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Legrand , Pierre Jansen, Krzystof Komeda, Keitaro Miho and Piero Umiliani.
Umiliani's contribution has been the only one released on a EP at the time, in Italy.
