Buysoundtrax Digital presents for the first time digitally Patrick Gleeson's Star Wars, an electronic realization of themes from John Williams' Star Wars as performed by Gleeson on an eMU synthesizer.

Originally recorded in 1977, Gleeson used what were, at the time, state of the art synthesizer systems to electronically recreate John William's iconic score.

Patrick Gleeson is a musician, synthesizer pioneer, composer and producer, from California, USA.
Gleeson recorded a number of solo albums, Beyond the Sun - An Electronic Portrait of Holst's 'The Planets' in 1976, to which Carlos contributed the sleeve notes. The album was nominated for a 'best engineered recording-classical' Grammy in 1976.[1] Beyond the Sun was followed in 1977 by a more commercial album, Patrick Gleeson's Star Wars.
The Star Wars main title theme was covered by Patrick Gleeson a month after the release of the London Symphony Orchestra performance.
