Walt Disney Records will release John Powell's score to Solo: A Star Wars Story on May 25th 2018. Solo is the long awaited Star Wars spin off with fan favourite Han Solo as leading character. The film is directed by Ron Howard starring Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Paul Bettany, Woody Harrelson and Donald Glover. The music is written by John Powell (Chicken Run, The Jason Bourne trilogy, How to Train you Dragon 1 + 2). According to his Facebook page he has composed 5 theme's for this space adventure. Next to Powell's score maestro John Williams also has written a new theme for Han Solo. The soundtrack opens with Williams theme, The Adventures of Han. The film will be in theatres on Friday May 25th 2018.
