2-CD Legacy Collection
Walt Disney Records will release on February 9th 2018 a 2-CD set of Beauty and the Beast in their Legacy Collection. This Disney Classci from 1991 is still one of Disney's most beloved films. The album features the remastered original songs and score from the film composed by Alan Menken (Aladdin, Enchanted, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Tangled), as well as seven demo tracks. Howard Ashman provided the songs’ lyrics. Menken’s score and the composers’ title song were honored with Academy Awards in 1992. With a total playtime of 130 minutes this will be a nice addition to Walt Disney's Legacy Collection.
