On Wednesday January 23rd 2018 the nominees for the Oscars 2018 were announced. In the category best score, John Williams received his 51st nomination for an Oscar with his score to Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Other nominees are Alexandre Desplat, Carter Burwell, Johnny Greenwood and Hans Zimmer.
