Both films feature great casts, in the former our beloved Lino Banfi and gorgeous Agostina Belli and in the latter the divine Lilli Carati and the great Renzo Montagnani.
These two soundtracks, previously unreleased on CD, pay homage not only to this wonderful cinematic era but most of all to the art of the great Maestro from Tuscany, key interpreter of lounge music, exotica, polyhedral jazz and film music. In this tribute, we do not miss his experimental verve, with three cues taken from the music library album Tra Scienza E Fantascienza (featured in Vai Avanti Tu Che Mi Vien Da Ridere) plus an array of great themes and arrangements, amazing for their quality and variety.

Also included on the CD is the track ''Super Snooper'' (from the Poliziotto Superpiu'soundtrack), featured in the score for Vai Avanti Tu Che Mi Vien Da Ridere and performed by La Bionda Bros.

The CD comes in a jewel case featuring a deluxe 16-page booklet with flip cover designed by Daniele De Gemini (who also authored the liner notes) and audio mastering by Enrico De Gemini.
