Milan Records / Sony Masterworks & Caviar are pleased to announce the release of the soundtrack for Rebel, the new highly anticipated feature film by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys For Life, Mrs. Marvel).
After Black & Gangsta, the two directors once again worked together with the talented composer Hannes De Maeyer (Professor T, Torpedo).
The compositions infused with oriental accents are real odes to the travels of the protagonists between Belgium and Syria and are even taken to the next level by the wonderful voice of Moroccan artist Oum on the titles Lullaby or Leila's Journey for instance. The penetrating rap of lead actor Aboubakr Bensaihi can also be found on the titles Gas Attack, essential music scene in the film, Kamal's Speech and the bonus track Double K.
Following the Belgian release of the film, producer Caviar, also launches a spectacular video clip for the bonus single, starring Aboubakr Bensaihi as Kamal Wasaki, the main character of the film.
