Lennie Niehaus, popular composer for Clint Eastwood Films, jazz saxophonist and arrangerand, dies at age 90 at his daughter’s home in Redlands, California

Lennie Niehaus, popular composer for Clint Eastwood Films, jazz saxophonist and arrangerand, dies at age 90 at his daughter’s home in Redlands, California

The composer was best known for his collaborations with Clint Eastwood including the Academy Award-winning western Unforgiven, The Bridges of Madison County, Space Cowboys, Absolute Power….
But credits include also City Heat, Tightrope, the 1996 mini-series Titanic and the 2008’s 2-parter Comanche Moon.

Niehaus received a BAFTA nomination for Bird and two Primetime Emmy Awards nominations and, of course, the Emmy Award for Lush Life.

Niehaus was born in St. Louis, Missouri
