James Hannigan

Award-Winning Games, TV and Film composer James Hannigan's credits include Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (EA), Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest, Freelancer, Evil Genius, Art Academy, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (EA), Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (EA), Conquest, Reign of Fire, entries in the Warhammer and Theme Park series', EA Sports titles and many others - along with contributing to TV shows such as Primeval. In 2000, James won a BAFTA Award with Electronic Arts for Theme Park World/Sim Theme Park and has received a further four BAFTA nominations in the years since. Most recently, James picked up an IFMCA (International Film Music Critics Association) award for Best Game Score of 2009.

James regularly works with orchestras and choirs at home and abroad including, among others, The Philharmonia Orchestra, the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra, The Chamber Orchestra of London, The Pinewood Singers and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra - recording at locations such as Abbey Road Studios, Skywalker Ranch, Phoenix Sound and Air-Lyndhurst. James frequently works with renowned ensembles and soloists such as Tony Hinnigan (Titanic, Braveheart), The Pinewood Singers, Miriam Stockley (Adiemus), Miranda Keys and Soname - to name a few.
