An American Pickle is directed by Brandon Trost with Seth Rogen, Maya Erskine, Jorma Taccone and Sarah Snook.
The movie is based on Simon Rich’s New Yorker novella and stars Seth Rogen as Herschel Greenbaum, a struggling laborer who immigrates to America in 1920 with dreams of building a better life for his beloved family. One day, while working at his factory job, he falls into a vat of pickles and is brined for 100 years.
The brine preserves him perfectly and when he emerges in present-day Brooklyn, he finds that he hasn’t aged a day.
But when he seeks out his family, he is troubled to learn that his only surviving relative is his great-grandson, Ben Greenbaum (also played by Rogen), a mild-mannered computer coder whom Herschel can’t even begin to understand….

Michael Giacchino and Nami Melumad's score is digitally available
WaterTower Music has released the score to the HBO Max film An American Pickle. The theme's for the score are composed by MICHAEL GIACCHINO (Star Trek, Spider-man Far From Home, Jurassic World, Ratatouille, Up, Insight Out,....). The score is written by Nami Melumad (Absentia). She has used Giacchino's theme's and the result is a touching score with really fun an exiting moments. The movie is directed by Brandon Trost and starring Seth Rogen, Maya Erskine, Jorma Taccone en Sarah Snook. The score is digitally available and you can also listen to it through streaming sites as Apple Music or Spotify. The total playtime of the album is 64 minutes.
