New collaboration between director Wim Wenders and prestigious composer Laurent Petitgand, after work together on projects like Far Away, So Close, the documentary Tokyo-Ga or Der Himmel über Berlin (additional music).

The film is a very special and human project. For the last 40 years, the photographer Sebastião Salgado has been travelling through the continents, in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed some of the major events of our recent history; international conflicts, starvation and exodus. He is now embarking on the discovery of pristine territories, of wild fauna and flora, and of grandiose landscapes as part of a huge photographic project which is a tribute to the planet’s beauty.

Laurent Petitgand provides a beatiful, moving and eclectic score which is the ideal complement to the impressive images of Wenders and Salgado.
