The quintessential Englishman, Noel Coward enjoyed a career as a successful songwriter, actor, singer and author. Indeed, there appears to be have been little that Noel Coward didn t turn his hand at and make it a success, collecting a knighthood and a Tony award during his lifetime. This album concentrates on two of his talents, that of singer and songwriter (and it is often forgotten that he composed 'Mad About The Boy', later a massive international hit for Dinah Washington) and includes 'Mad Dogs And Englishmen', perhaps the song with which he is most closely associated.
