There is no doubt that Edmund Butt has enormous talent. His score for The Dark is quite brilliant - worlds better than the film itself. He clearly writes from his heart. Have you heard any of his other music? He has written some brilliant scores for British TV - such as "Afterlife", "Life on Mars", "When I'm 64" and his most recent film score is for "True North" a BBC film - amazing.
