Intrada brengt deze week 2 fantastische scores uit! De eerste release is een 2-CD set van Jerry Goldsmith's score voor The Ghost and the Darkness. De 2de release is een soundtrack met 3 David Newman scores Coneheads, Talent for the Game enThe Itsy Bitsy Spider.

The Ghost and the Darkness uit 1996 van regisseur Stephen Hopkins met Michael Douglas en Val Kilmer in de hoofdrol vertelt het waargebeurde verhaal van een dorpje in Tsavo (Kenia) welk in 1898 geterroriseerd werd door 2 leeuwen. In de film is het aan Michael Douglas en Val Kilmer op jacht te maken op deze 2 monsters! Goldsmith componeerde één van zijn betere scores voor deze film. Het prachtige landschap is de inspiratie voor Goldsmith's main title welke je onmiddellijk meeneemt naar Afrika. De jacht op de leeuwen wordt ondersteund door de lage kopers zoals alleen Goldsmith dit kan doen. De originele soundtrack bevatte 45 minuten van Goldsmith's score. Deze nieuwe release, welke volledig remastered is door Bruce Botnick bevat 70 minuten score alsook vele alternatieve opnames. Hiernaast staat ook de originele score op deze set wat de speelduur op 156 minuten brengt! Een must have voor alle Goldsmith liefhebbers.
