3:10 to Yuma Expanded & Zombeavers

Nieuwe releases La-La Land Records

La-La Land Records heeft deze week 2 nieuwe soundtracks uitgebracht. Marco Beltrami's western score voor 3:10 to Yuma in een expanded Limited Edition en Jon en Al Kaplan's horror score voor Zombeavers.
Marco Beltrami's score voor 3:10 to Yuma was in 2007 genomineerd voor een Oscar voor beste score. Hij componeerde voor deze James Mangold film, met Russel Crowe en Christian Bale in de hoofdrol, een score met de focus op traditionele instrumenten aangevuld door groots orkest. Deze nieuwe release is volledig remastered en uitgebreid met een 15 minuten aan bonus tracks. De totale speelduur bedraagt nu 62 minuten. In totaal zijn er 3000 exemplaren verkrijgbaar.

De tweede release is Zombeavers, een horror/komedie waarvoor de muziek gecomponeerd is door Jon en Al Kaplan. De score van de Kaplan's brengt de jaren 80 sound terug tot leven gecombineerd met een hedendaagse sound. Zombeavers is geregisseerd door Jordan Rubin met in de hoofdrollen Rachel Melvin, Corney Palm en Rex Linn. Naast de score staat er ook nog een hilarische lounge song op dit album genaamd Zombeavers. De totale speelduur bedraagt 47 minuten?
