Walt Disney Records brengt op 10 december 2013 Thomas Newman's score uit voor Walt Disney's Saving Mr Banks. De film vertelt het verhaal over hoe Walt Disney er in geslaagd is om van auteur P.L. Travers de rechten te verkrijgen om van Marry Poppins een film te maken. De hoofdrollen in deze film van John Lee Hancock zijn voor Tom Hanks en Emma Thompson. Thomas Newman componeerde de score voor de film. Walt Disney Records brengt 2 soundtracks uit. De originele soundtrack die 46 minuten muziek bevat en een deluxe uitgave die 69 minuten muziek bevat. Het verschil tussen deze 2 uitgaves is dat op de 2de CD Demo's staan van de originele Mary Poppins songs geschreven door de Sherman Brothers.
