Thomas Newman returns to 007!

Director Sam Mendes has recently announced on the press conference that composer Thomas Newman will score the new James Bond film called SPECTRE. This will be Newman's second Bond score, next to Skyfall, also directed by Mendes. Mendes and Newman have previously worked on films such as American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Revolutionary Road and Jarhead. Sam Mendes has also announced the cast for SPECTRE. Daniel Craig will return for the 4th time as James Bond. The Bond girls will be played by Monica Bellucci, Léa Sedoux and Naomie Harris. Also returning are Ralph Fiennes as M, Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q. Christoph Waltz will play the part of Oberhauser who will finally become Blofeld. There is no news yet about who will write and/or perform the Bond song.
