WaterTower Records will be releasing Junkie XL's score to 300: Rise of an Empire on March 4th 2014. Composer Tom Holkenborg, better known as Junkie XL got the opportunity to score this second 300 film. Tyler Bates wrote the score for the first film. Junkie XL puts orchestra, synths and guitars al in the mix to create an explosive action score. This release features 67 minutes of Junkie XL's score. Junkie XL has written the scores to New Kids Turbo and Paranoia and has worked with Hans Zimmer on several of his scores. Later this year he will be writing the score to Divergent.
