Interview Murray Gold

Filmmusicsite.com talked to Doctor Who composer!

Murray Gold is a composer of music for film, television, video games and theatre. He lives both in New York and London and has studios in both cities. As a composer for film he wrote the score to Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs Evil and Death at a Funaral a film directed by Frank Oz. He wrote the score for the ballet Lorent’s Rapunzel and for television shows such as Queer as Folk, Vanity Fair, Torchwood but he’s best-know for his work for thehugely popular television show Doctor Who who’s soundtrack albums are best sellers at Itunes and in stores.

Because of the upcoming 50th anniverary of Doctor Who on November 23th 2013 we had the opportunity to talk to Murray Gold. He talks about the music and themes that he wrote for the past seasons. He also told us a little of what is coming in the near future.
