Man of Steel

Original Soundtrack and Limited Deluxe Edition both 2CD's

Tower Water Music will be releasing Hans Zimmer's score to Man of Steel on June 11 2013. Man of Steel is the latest Superman movie directed by Zack Snyder. A lot has been written about the film already but more has been written about the score. Early on in the process it was known that Hans Zimmer wouldn't use John Williams his iconic Superman theme. A snippet of the score was already presented in trailer 3 of Man of Steel but on June 11th Water Tower Music will be releasing the score in 2 versions. A regular soundtrack release and a Limited Deluxe Edition. Both releases will have 2 CD's. It's about the same way they did it with The Hobbit soundtracks. The regular release will have 18 tracks, 87 minutes in total. 17 tracks on CD 1 and a suite with Zimmer's ideas, sketches, on CD 2. The suite is 28 minutes long. The Limited Deluxe Edition will come in a cool steel box with the same content as the regular release plus 6 extra score tracks on CD 2. Currently there's no information about the tracktimes of the 6 extra tracks. Those who buy the Limited Deluxe Edition can download the 24 tracks in DTS Headphone: X.
