With Les Liaisons dangereuses, Roger Vadim scandal. Inspired by the famous epistolary novel by Laclos, the director presents to the public in the early 1960s a film where debauchery, shenanigans and good intermingle bourgeoisie in Paris 1960 Gérard Philipe and Jeanne Moreau are excellent, and film is often considered one of the best Vadim. It also owes much to his music, where there is the taste for jazz Vadim. Indeed, for the soundtrack of Dangerous Liaisons, Vadim uses Art Blakey and his Jazz Messengers.
