The Lovers is an upcoming comedy directed by Azazel Jacobs (Terri) starring Debra Winger (Terms of Endearment) and Tracy Letts (Homeland). The film follows Michael and Mary, a chronically cheating married couple whose relationship has gone bitterly bad. When they decide to sit down and get divorced, the two find themselves suddenly falling in love again. The original score to The Lovers was composed by Mandy Hoffman (Ana Maria in Novela Land). She provides a delightful, bubbly orchestral score which guides the viewers through the hilarious intricacies of Michael and Mary’s entangled relationships.
